QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 10 2009, 01:54 PM) didn't see this found code before. Maybe different device different name.. Have check light on? No, Actually not to worry much. If wanna find out, then check with PDT. It more accurate for proton. Some diagnosis tool detect some fault but when using pdt, there no fault code.. don't have any light on before ... i suspect is my fuel system... if back SC ask them use PDT to check, do they charge me? |

Have you realize it have LR on the front fault code? It mean left and right. If you sent to SC, they will charge you pdt check. For safety, sent to check. =) my fren's Neo using it, countless times Genting up down tires pattern still cantik cantik ~ but Too Rich not related to Fuel System meh? in fact, the faulty code already removed... that's why don't know whether want bring to SC to double check or not ... |

QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 12 2009, 08:33 PM) Hey.. I check it for you already. This fault code after you remove it then it had no harm. Although no remove, also no harm. This fault code is normal for drive by wire vehicle in problem especially manual transmission. It mean the pedal something like can't communicate with the tps for a moment. This happen when you step the acceleration pedal full throttle or too much when normal driving condition. It also have the fault code 'too low' when you keep accelerate then let go. For cps engine, it have a feature which is very good (for save fuel purpose. the ecu will calculate our driving condition and control injector to shot amount of fuel which enough for the confition.). During normal driving condition, you just need to step the acceleration a bit. if we step too much during normal driving, that fault code might come out. If wanna overtake or pick up, you sudden accelerate then the power will come. I wonder how many manual tranny cps owner here realize during we wanna overtake or sudden accelerate, our car jerk (like dropping gear in auto car) then the power come very fast? That time only the ecu sent signal to the injector to spray more fuel. During that time injector spray more fuel + cps work + short VIM activated then it gave more power. hopefully you guy know what i mean. forgive me if my English explanation is so bad. add me in too.. singchaii - Hyrax E-one 10w-40, semi syn Thank you so much singchaii's explanation. Guess that i'm just worry too much.. later go and test my car see will jerk or not when sudden accelerate... Usually i will just drop gear if wanna over take.. QUOTE(clsia1001 @ Dec 17 2009, 06:47 PM) I almost finish reading CPS thread Version 2 and saw this : 1. Check through all the items in Proton Edar Check list. 2. Power window 3. Side Mirror – Function or not 4. Reverse Sensor 5. Body Paint 6. Door alignment / Easy open for Doors 7. Weather Strip condition 8. Check chassis number for the manufacture year. 9. Check for cushion on BaseLine model 10. Make sure the mileage is between 2-20km …..(anything more than that you may reject the car) 11. Roof lining (check for fitting and no stains on it) 12. Try all the switches on Central console and switches on steering and stick switches. 13. check on paint matching on body, spoiler and bumpers 14. Make sure there is enough fuel to reach the nearest station. 15. Take the SA and drive for a short trip for inspection on driving. 16. Take your time for checking, do not pickup your car during rainy day and avoid afternoon and evening. Get all this from forum… Maybe it useful… Credit to pearjar |
