yup its the brake pad dust / residue... standard oem produce too much dust... upgrade to performance brake pad... nod.gif

How to check if brake fluid is leaking?

1. Visual check, you can check the each brake (pump) if it is oily/wet
2. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. The level must be between "MAX" and "MIN" marks on the reservoir. Should the brake fluid falls below "MIN" rapidly, it indicates leaks the brake system....

This applies as well to transmission, power steering, clutch and also engine oil...

check if your brake fluid if its falling below the normal levels (indicated on our brake fluid reservior).

ori brake pads are very dusty. its normal.

oil might be from road that we travelled on every day. don't be surprised if your rim gets dirty within 2 days of washing. its completely normal. smile.gif

agree with VerM. it looks like water seeping in from the back. to try, take off the top cushion and then pour some water onto the rear bonnet from the top of car. you should be able to catch the culprit from there... most likely the rubber gave way or not installed properly. have it checked quickly since its been raining these few weeks!

Dirty yes but oily no. shocking.gif My previous wira also had the oily problem. It was leaking brake oil.
The brake dust always makes me mad. And the pad is super expensive to change too. I ask recently they quote me RM300 ++ for the same pad. Unbelievable. They offer lower quality pad at cheaper price but I'm not going to risk my life. At that price I think there's better brake pad out there.

actually right
major or minor service... do not follow the service booklet to the dot..
decide yourself if u think u need to service/change the particular parts mentioned or not...

i did not follow the service booklet at all... i just decide what i want to do/change when i go for service
