you into weightlifting as a sport or lifting weights?
Puma/converse are more "cross trainer" like If you want more barefoot style then feelmax, vibrams. If you want weight lifting shoes, there are many from nike, adidas zhangkong, dowin

What you decide to do will result in a choice/recommendation. Its like using soccer boots for golf and golf shoes for sprinting.
All have spikes but they're design for the sport.

lifting weights then. Just get a converse chuck or puma which has a flat sole. This can double up as a running shoe.
Lifting weights is going to a gym and moving some heavy shit around. weight lifting is doing the snatch and clean and jerk.
