need help here.

rh - power 475, ast 100

lh - power 550, ast 75

any cheap transition to recommend?

Budget?

Most transitions like Hoya and Carl Zeiss ain't cheap, plus your power is a lil tad high for those cheap transitions.

Bro i looking for zeiss lens your friend got? At least index 1.6 cause fitting on ic berlin.. Dont want polycarb anymore bo sui, using it now.
Thanks.

1,6 you need get the slightly higher version of the Zeiss.

Mine basic around 300 bucks, the higher version would be around 600, if you are looking at transition, maybe more.

The cheapest one I'm using is Lotutec.

If more than 1,6, need to get the higher end one already.

I'll reply you 2morrow, coz my Carl Zeiss prescription card is not with me at the moment.

If you are a student but can't afford such luxuries, don't buy la.

What's so great bout a spec that cost 1,5k that works the same with another that cost 600?

hmm.gif maintenance free specs, lightweight frame. i don't go for brands though, i go for features. maybe save up lo...  smile.gif If can I'd love to have it lasts for a very long time  smile.gif

that's why I'm looking for shops with better deals. of course i don't wanna pay 1.5k for a spec until i work... 500-1k is alright for me smile.gif

My Oakleys has lasted more than 4 years for the 1st pair, and the 2nd one just came in last month.

I guess you don't need to go for IC Berlin for quality, there are plenty of other good frames that last very long too.

Maybe bro Jialat can help you get cheaper but don't expect till 1,5k --> 900+ la laugh.gif

Not to add, the prescription ain't cheap too nowadays.

Anyone could tell the obvious differences between HOYA and ESSILOR as there are mixed reviews in the web.

I am getting a spec replacement and would like to find out which is currently good and worth buying.

My habit and lifestyle is:
- working in computerized environment, facing screens at least 6 hours a day, might as well need blue filter
- need transition lens (signature or Xtrative?)
- smudge and scratch resistance

Good question.

I am curious myself laugh.gif

Planning to get a pair of new glasses but more inclined for the Carl Zeiss lens.

Luckily, my eyes are within the low index category so I don't have to cough up a fortune for CZ lens.

Just that for an extra 200, I could probably afford an Essilor transition lens hmm.gif

2) Can try normal ILT brand , kodak brand etc . those brand provide middle range price and middle range quality
quite optional , depends on ur usage & lifestyle too
