Perhaps its good practice to directly state down which players are banned? Like their roster for SMM for example :

Ks : Yamateh, Papaxiong, Chuan, Sakura, Ice
Ct : Mushi, Net, Sharky, Xtinct, Xigz
Xlo : Dabe, Nicx, Bboy, Wenz, Zuki



I still do not think banning good players provides a good environment for the development of the scene. If the goal is to limit the influence of good players in this college-based semi-open tournament, I suggest limit the above mentioned "good" players (It is 15 but the list could be longer) to 1 per team. This will ensure the line of Best Dota Knowledge be passed to a newer generation of potential next Mushi or Yamateh and give us the ground work to pwn back China next SMM.
