Using energy doesn't cause increase in chest muscles. If that's the case, office workers would have chests the size of Mount K1

Narrow stances gives more emphasis on the triceps and reduces the amount of load on your shoulders. It's also consider "safer" according to industry standards and preferred compared to the wide grip

If you're not the pro one, then why are you giving advice. Advice is supposed to be given from someone who KNOWS their stuff.

I may have a fair amount of knowledge about weight training itself, but if anyone were to ask me for advice on Olympic Lifting, I would probably say 'I am not sure' and check with Pizzaboy or my other weightlifting friend.

If someone asks me on nutrition, chances are I would forward the question to someone like ken86 instead because he knows his stuff.

Now why do I trust them? Because they have been there, done that, and have had way more experience than I do.

Information you get on the internet is not always right, so if you don't know, then don't give advice. At the very least say "I think wide grip pushups does XYZ" and admit that you're not knowledgeable.
