QUOTE(Desvaro @ Dec 10 2009, 08:48 PM) Finally! The truth! I really don't understand why people keep on insisting that there is an inner chest etc. So do you realise lowyat.net is internet too? Im just giving my own opinion(Which I get from internet sources) and I DID STATED IM NOT THE PRO 1.If you're not the pro one, then why are you giving advice. Advice is supposed to be given from someone who KNOWS their stuff. When you're sick, do you ask your friend who just 'googles' stuff or do you go see a professional doctor? When you need to get your taxes done, do you 'google' and find out how to do it or do you go to a professional accountant? What if the information you got over the internet was a mistake? I may have a fair amount of knowledge about weight training itself, but if anyone were to ask me for advice on Olympic Lifting, I would probably say 'I am not sure' and check with Pizzaboy or my other weightlifting friend. If someone asks me on nutrition, chances are I would forward the question to someone like ken86 instead because he knows his stuff. Now why do I trust them? Because they have been there, done that, and have had way more experience than I do. Information you get on the internet is not always right, so if you don't know, then don't give advice. At the very least say "I think wide grip pushups does XYZ" and admit that you're not knowledgeable. You want to accept the opinion or not thats up to you, but I dont see the reason you post those sh!t here. Or maybe you think your comment is knowledgeable? Or useful? At least in this thread. |
