WOW!!!!! it's already been 2 weeks liao, youtube still load slow like hell.
when will this end? i wan my youtube speed back!!!!

Has anyone ever tried that at those hours?

after my RS download slow and ytube slow ... i send email complain about this problem ...  and this is what they reply
    RS and ytube is P2P ???    can some one confirm it back ??? i wan sue  TM back ...  jawapan dari TM mcm  taik ...  langsung tak memberi bantuan

^That guy wants to bring you to see the FUP? let me show you..
Quoting Fair Usage Policy (FUP)
1. As far as my knowledge of internet concerns, Youtube can be considered a live streaming site and should be given priority as stated in the FUP.
2. I'm not an extreme heavy user and they should at no time prioritize my traffic usage.
3. As far as the FUP is concern, it will only limit P2P and P2P sites that consume a lot bandwidth and/or users who use extremely lot of bandwidth.
4. Youtube is not a p2p system or site.
5. Youtube is not a file sharing software.
6. TM broke their own Fair Usage Policy by limiting our Youtube speed.
7. Their FUP got loophole because it states Extreme heavy usage?  How much is extreme? For normal user like me extreme means >20GB a month. To all torrent and RS kaki, your extreme is 100GB+- a month?

Tell him (ahmad farid) you do not wish to speak to him further and you wish to speak to a representative from NOC (network operation center) for clarification on the matter and or top management for further discussions as he is just a low level customer support officer and he cannot help you further, and he is just a low level guy who doesnt know TM's internal situation. AND he doesn't even know what is he talking about, FUP has nothing to do with youtube slowing down (but it might apply to RS).

Then, state your new queury about the FUP and how if affects youtube/rs and demand answers from upper levels otherwise you will bring the case up to MCMC/CFM especially on the throttling of Youtube. (since RS actually contains illegal content and they might just brush you off, so focus more on Youtube)

looks like my patience is worth it!
Last week i filed a complaint to MCMC and receive response from TM 2 days ago.
The female operator said she has reset my line from there and suddenly my 1mb line is ok after that.But only 90% of 1Mb..so ok la i think,becoz download speed is around 70 to 120kbps max..

this morning she check again from me,she ask if my connection is still slow.
after that i "accidentally" lie to her and sad my line is still bad..

just now my line just disconnect itself and after few minutes it came back and voila!


most of all i get an ip i never got before- its 118.101.xxx.xxx
before its like 60.xx.xx
now downloads is around 190 to 210kbps!!woah....

what just happened?

I think this complaint to MCMC thing is really working!

I got my Youtube speed back.   Seems making a report to SKM & MCMC are worthy for.
Also, using Google DNS.

download 4-5mb files from rapidshare also slow like hell
and some files didnt finish and stopped just like that..   

are you sure there's a hardware installation to throttle rapidshare which would take a day to finish? 

my problem is during noon time my speed quite slow but after 1am my speed is at maximum.. any1 is facing this prob?

last night my net finally decided that it had enough, so it died...DSL light solid, but once connected to net, the internet blinking damn fast as if i was downloading! Then try load page, it says i m not even connected to net. But looking at the router page, it says i m connected. Well done TakMau!

Worse still told TM for over a year now, that my phone line got problem, still refuses to fix it. I got heavy static problem...i think its coming down to be on the same terms as them, I will harass them daily!

WTF!!! All download host giving me 20kb download speed only..!!! Demn u stimix...

My streamyx speed not yet settle. Then come another problem.

I subscribe the 1M Combo package with the RM10 add voice. Now the bill come and they charge me on the fixed line calling. After i call them only they said this only start on next bill date.

Tried to argue with them mine one is combo package, and if i can call out thats mean the add voice already active. But they still said it only start on 10/1/10.

I'm already call a lot this 2 weeks, arg.....

My neighbour's WiFi, unsecured, dont know how many mbps. I connect to this network coz P1 cant connect. oh, this wifi signal is 25%
