Weird, everything is back to good speed after i changed back to streamyx dns from opendns. Why dont someone try it out too.
Either that, or just weird timing on my change, and return of speed

Added on January 24, 2010, 11:54 pmYeap, tried changing back to opendns and youtube/facebook is crawling again. Try using streamyx dns for now.

i did call streamyx. They got back to me today and ask me check speed. I did it and was having " average" speed on the speedtest. They asked if i want to close and i said, please explain to me why the hell are my packet looses 100%. Every website she asked me to ping, 100% loss!!! Told them, fix it or else dont close it

lolwut. 4MBPS? im using 1mbps package. i notice they do call up nowadays but the problem doesnt ever get solved

Just threaten them with mcmc. Say you already filed a complaint, and that you want them to send a technician over to sort out your speed. Once the technician comes, it'll be easier from there.

They used to say 70% some time back. Now they mostly say 80%. I think it was mentioned by someone on this forum that MCMC says 90%.

Anyway, see the TM FAQ as below.
I have said before about the meaning of "unlimited" mentioned by TM and how I have not seen any reference to it being about data transfer. I asked at least a couple of times whether anyone has seen reference to unlimited data transfer. Finally, now I see this question which I don't think I've seen before. Looks like it can be open to TM to cap data transfer if they want. Maybe HSBB new packages will have it stated from the start.
