BTW, watever agreement/understanding AT&T has with Apple has no bearings on the Maxis/Apple deals. Maxis launched their iphone MMS a wee bit earlier than AT&T and iphone tethering is available(as of this writing, tethring is still NOT available on AT&T). I would say now Maxis is encountering what AT&T did months ago....data congestion no thanks to increasing iphone user base. We'll just have to wait and see if Maxis will upgrade their infra like crazy after their IPO  brows.gif

On 3.1 firmware you can tether with Maxis, but not with Celcom or Digi. Celcom & Digi customers used to be able to tether with 3.0 firmware but they disabled that feature when AT&T complained, as a consequence even other places around the world without those kind of monopolistic practices have to suffer as well.

This is mainly used to warm your car up in cold weather.

Here in Malaysia people use it normally to start air-con so it won't be so hot when they get in.

Last I asked, they've upped it to RM1.8K++ already .. but then, the guy who I asked didn't seem to promote the phones on display.. he was probably more interested in getting the commission from my subscription only..

Added on November 30, 2009, 3:45 pmBTW .. I'm undecided too .. even after reading lot of articles .. to go for hero instead of 3gs .. hehe.. package vs package, 3gs seems to be toooooo attractive to ignore.

why would you need to start a car with mobile phone? even if you got iphone, you will still have to install the equipment into the car. isnt it a too big fuss to make just to start the car?

if i were you i would go for iphone 3gs since you can get it at a much lower price. go for the trend.. you wont be wrong.. is not a big investment anyway, buy android next time when its app store is doing better.

what iphone has over android is perfect touch screen, perfect kinetic scrolling. Will never miss a single touch.

My guess is that this is because of not supporting multitasking in Iphone, the processor can be fully utilized by the current active app.

I used to fancy I phone a lot.. But im so happy i chose HTC hero.. The Google Android really suit me. I love how the applications link to each other & very organised. Having A contact with all their Email, Msn, Flick, Fb, googlemap just under 1 roof (htc sense)... n it will continue to keep me updated.

And of course the Googlemail + contact + calender... updated without the need to sync n cable.. work like Magic.

For ppl like me who love to customise my phone.. & be as organise as possible & according to my personal preferences... D Android is the best phone for me.

But I have to admit, the touchscreen for I phone is much better than Hero. is very responsive. Hero smtime not "Tat smooth"

Another thing is Iphone Applications win big time. Im still stuck without Android Market.... the SLideME tat provide in my phone is Junk.. useless applications.
