Hi guys, long time didn't touch the SD BB already, now coming back and saw a lot of poison @@

I found this recently (upgraded version of Zhang Fei and Guan Yu):

1) 雷装张飞

2) 鬼牙装关羽

Would like to know is there upgraded version for Zhao Yun (赵云), Ma Chao (马超), Huang Zhong (黄忠)?

Cause I want to keep a set of the 5 tiger warrior tongue.gif
*
For now, the upgraded version are only up to Sun Quan.
Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Cao Cao and Sun Quan are out.
No news on the rest yet, but for sure, soon you will. smile.gif
Bandai wont miss this chance to milk money from us this way.....

not a big fan of these new sangokuden ;[ its too obvious they don't have any new ideas and just need an excuse to milk more money out of collectors and builders
*
True, obvious that they dont have any new ideas.
But it is good for those that who hasnt bought the old one.
As these are a lot more nicer.... (what I think)

Well, at least SD 00Q is coming out soon and it looks  pretty decent. rclxms.gif
Wonder, what the condensers for 00 which comes bundled with SD 00Q are for though? Maybe 00 Condenser plays a big roll in the movie. hmm.gif

Oh, and Shin Gelgoog's box art looks real badass, even though the contents are the same.
*
Anyone has link on the SD 00Q?

QUOTE(madmoz @ Oct 3 2010, 04:16 PM)
Still, go get a koto sd kit and you'll realise how far bandai has fallen behind!
*
Agree with Parody, although koto kits are nicer but they charge us too high price...

SD 00Q doesnt look that nice...
Still prefer 00 Raiser.

For that Sousou, just extra finish right?

The rest.... Sigh!

Good, can save money.

The SD 00Q doesnt look so nice especially on the leg part, so plain one?
But still I will get one to fill my collection....

Hope to see more other 00 models.
I dont want just the Exia, 00 and this 00Q being released.
At least the rest of the three gundam models should be released though I still hope for Tieren, Flag and Enact.

[color=purple]I think SD 00 and SD Exia's leg were plain as well?

*
Somehow, I dunno why, they don't look that bad to me.
Guess I have already fed up with Exia's mold..... Some more this SD 00Q supposed to be the next generation of SD 00, but it doesnt impress me much with such plain design....

Thanks madmoz bro for taking up the initiative to bring up this event.
This thread is so inactive lately, basically I just can see jayster that still keep up with his hardwork. And NokCha with his limited edition SD.

We have 2 GBs done before that (1 is the Zaku GB and another is Sanguo GB).
Zaku GB is still ok (we still see a few nice Zaku completed) but Sanguo GB turns out to be a 'failure' as not much ppl completed the 'well-planned' work. (including myself blush.gif )
Our plan is good but ...

Prize is a good motivation to make this GB/contest to be successful. Let me go find 1-2 boxes of SD from my stock. (We will look for more volunteer, let us know if you have something in your stock and you want to clear it smile.gif)
Sorry, it might not be that expensive one. Dont expect too much coz I am not rich after all. It just serves as some motivations for the forumers to get started with painting.

But honestly, I believe we dont have the experience in organizing this. For example,
1. Who will be the judge?
2. How do we judge who will be the winner?
3. Theme for this GB?
4. Timeline? As most of the forumers are kinda of like 'part time', I myself has been stopped building kits for months.
5. Of course, we encourage as many as participation but we need to have a control as we dont want to end up 100 participations, but only 3 model kits being submitted.

Some of these are from the past experience from our Sanguo GB.
I strongly recommend this to be a SD one. But I am open to any grade, I just think that may be first timer can use SD as experiment since it is cheaper.
But on the detail, we got to sit down and have some discussion on this. (May be among a few organizers.)

But I would want to give full support on this GB. And I want to participate. Can I participate in the contest? smile.gif

Thanks madmoz for bringing this thread alive. smile.gif

well, since i am thinking of encouraging more people to start painting, lets keep it simple - as long as you paint and panel line i suppose you're in...

now we need to actually drum up some interest... lets start with the snap fitters in LYN nod.gif

You might want to get the list of ppl who is interested in this.
I would like to join.

Once we have update, I will paste it to the first page....

Kakaka.... Everyone is back....
Nice to see everyone active again.

Ok, prize to sponsor. As mentioned, it wasn't any big prize. blush.gif Just some kits kept deep inside my storage box:

Free Style and everyone be the judge seems to be good enough for our 1st official GB.
But I think we will leave the decision to our organizer, madmoz.

And also, as mentioned by madmoz, everyone can participate, but only 'newcomers' can enter the contest for prize.
If not, it will pull those newcomers from joining the GB.
But, how do we determine those are 'newcomers'? smile.gif

eh? everyone has a say lor, not me only.

everyone be judge sounds good. as for determination of 'newcomer' we go self assessment way lor - if you wanna contest, contest lor. If wanna play play only, also can lor.

it would be great if we could get at least ten contestants, cause we seem to have a lot of prizes! Or mebbe we save some for next GB if response poor sad.gif
*
Agreed. Let's see how the response goes.
Honestly, I would like to see more newcomers....

well i suppose it is settled then -
1) SDs only
2) Must be painted in one way or another.
3) Every participant is a judge.
4) Prizes for winning entry (the rest lucky draw? or 1-2-3 got prize?)
5) venue?
6) timing? i suggest shorter... longer all no semangat d laugh.gif
7) can participate but not contest.

Most of the 'old' members seem to be in. Need more new guys. Those with blogs can spread the word i suppose. I will also try to drum up some attention in the other forums. Ask any of your friends etc to see if they are interested. If we have big enough a momentum, can probably see if Lenny wanna host at her place. Better yet, someone go spread the word there - i recall a lot of kiddies buy SDs from her? The more the merrier?

I will participate, but not contesting. I takut kalah to 7 year old kid laugh.gif

PG ppl will be a bit hard to join....
