after i downgrade to 3.1.2 n jb n after reboot my iphone bac to 3.1.3 =.=!!!

i downgrade from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 n after finish the jb progress n wait for my iphone to reboot i check my iphone still 3.1.3 de? how come?

3.1.3 with newest boot can jb or not?

Untethered jailbreak is for OLD iBoot version was 359.3 and tethered jailbreak is the NEW version is iBoot 359.3.2.

If i have 3.1.3(upgraded from 3.1.2), Maxis set, Old bootrom, can i jailbreak using blackra1n?

im in deep trouble. i have an iphone 3g on a 3.0 firmware. i bought it from lowyat plaze last year december. it is already unlocked n jailbreak.

just now i was on youtube n i saw a software ''blackrain'' and i install it n run with iphone. now my phone is in a screen with a logo of ''itunes'' and ''usb cable''.

help me. i am now downloading the 3.0 firmware again. please help!! please !!

anyway i can restore back my old phone ??

just now i was on youtube n saw this blackrain and i tried.

and now my phone in stuck at the stage with the ''itunes'' logo n a usb cable logo.

how can i settle this ?

how to restore back to my old phone..

Other Information/Remarks : the phone was bought from lowyat plaza. it was laready jailbreak. i saw blackrain in youtube and wanna give it a try as i had problem with my Cydia, which has crashed. and i installed the blackrain, connect the phone and run the blackrain application from my pc. then the phone screen shows the itunes logo with the usb cable. ntg could be done from there.

Ya . Accidentally upgraded to 3.1.3
No way to downgrade the baseband ?

Need advice...Just got my 3Gs 16g from Digi that came with firmware 3.1.3 and baseband 05.12.  I was using a 2G (firmware 3.1.2, baseband 04.05.04, jailbroken & unloacked) and before syncing the 3Gs with iTune (9.0.3.15), I have synced the 2G as backup.

When I plugged in the 3Gs to iTunes and asked to register and create new account, I ignored it and later iTunes asked me to setup as new phone or restore the existing data / account, I chose to restore.

The restore process took quite long (about 30 minutes) and when it completed, I got everything on my 3Gs exactly like the 2G.

The problem is : the firmware now is 3.1.2 and baseband is 05.11.07!! How could that happen ? I did not jailbreak the 3Gs, did not restore firmware to 3.1.2, I just restore DATA only...

Is my 3Gs considered jailbroken ? I don't see the Cydia icon.  Should / Can I upgrade to 3.1.3 (iTune informs that my firmware 3.1.2), how about the baseband ?

Can anyone give advice/help ? Thanks...

Thanks, "savoir".  I don't know whether could I consider myself "lucky".  With firmware 3.1.3 and baseband 5.12, it will take long steps to downgrade to firmware 3.1.2 and baseband 5.11, now I just got it with syncing iTune? Which means I can follow the steps shown in iClarified to jailbreak the 3.1.2 ?  Or should I upgrade to 3.1.3 (I think the baseband will upgrade too) and wait for the "official" jailbreak for 3.1.3 (windows) to come out ?  I can live withtout jailbreak for few months.

Hey.. i am back.. But, i have a question for you guys to help up.. I don't have 3GS to test out.. But, this is my idea.. not sure it works or not..

1.My question is.. My friend has accidentally upgrade 3GS to via itunes to ver 3.1.3. Now he is stuck(he did not store his SHSH cert to Cydia b4), as we know neither blackra1n or pwnage tools can JB it IF YOU ARE already in official 3.13 firmware.

So, i was thinking that can we use the customs "iPhone1_1_3.1.3_7E18_Custom_Restore_NotActivated.zip" firmware that made by someone using Pwnage tools. Then, restore it via itunes?

So, with this the phone is now JB..

Added on April 5, 2010, 4:19 pmNo la friend... the baseband 5.12 has nothing to do with JB.. Rather it is for unlocker... Since you are using a unlock phone(DIGI/MAXIS etc.).. You no need to worry for any baseband update at the moment.. If geohot or dev team release a untethered JB for firmware 3.1.3... U just run it without the need to worry about the baseband update.. As, it is none of the business for a unlock iphone..

Yes.. But, i am not doing a downgrading.. When a new firmware being roll out by apple. They will immediately stop signing the previous/lower version to stop you from downgrading..But, here i am using a customize ver 3.1.3 firmware from pwnage tools..so, will this JB  a unjailbroken firmware 3.1.3 3GS iphone?

i'm using blackrain..but after the geohot image it get back to the itunes+cable screen...
