me got problem with youtube after jb using blackrain.
already reset network and install the push fix from macosmovil cydia.
still cant run youtube. anyone got solution ? should i re-jb ?

once i install sbsetting
it went to DFU mode....

sigh

my firmware was 3.1.2 from maxis

can i downgrade it to 3.0.1?
i found it 3.0.1 is stable than 3.1.2

Apple will not released a new fw if the fw is not stable rite?

Just notice it was 3GS. damn. i take my words.

once i install winterboard
it went to DFU mode....

my firmware was 3.1.2

Restored it with itune and rejb it with blackrain

Reinstall cydia and winterboard.

Again it went into DFU state lol.

This time having problem restoring it as after restored the iphone shows itune and the cable plus ermegency call only while on the itune, it shows 'itune could not connect to iphone due to invalid response'.

Any any idea how to fix this?

i am tempted to update my 3GS with firmware 3.1.2 but scare of losing the JB ability.. even though some sources say it's possible to downgrade to 3.0 but wanna sure that it is possible..

my device is JB'ed using redsn0w
current version: 3.0 (7A341)
current firmware: 04.26.08

currently only blackra1n can JB device with 3.1.2, right?

Just want to share with you that my friend's JAILBROKEN iphone 3G 3.1.2 OS was recently infected with IKEE worm, so its spreading in Malaysia not just Australia, you may want to read about it and how to remove the worm from your iphone from the link below.

There are other worms spreading around that forces infected iphone users to pay for a code to clean the virus (I call it extortion & daylight robbery)

I have followed the steps provided and it worked to delete off the worm for my friend's iphone, now the phone is functioning normally. Even restoring will not remove the worm. You need to delete it manually via Mobile Terminal.

It is important you inform everyone you know that has jailbroken their iphone to "secure" your phone from the steps mentioned in the article above.

If anyone else has other methods to secure or remove the worm please share it here.

does ssh use 3g/edge? is it running on background? hmm i only know many use it to transfer file from pc to iphone, i don't coz i use ifunbox

hi, i think ssh does not using 3G or EDGE connection, because it is using internet connection.

once u installed "open SSH" on ur iphone, turn it on with "SBSetting", connect to a wireless connection on ur iphone.

installed a program named "winscp" to ur computer, and open it, type ip address of ur iphone, and type "root" on username, "alpine" on password, and it will connect to ur iphone database.

please correct me if i am wrong.

*P/S: i think there is another software named "iPhone Browser" which it connect to ur iphone through usb cable, close the itunes and run the iPhone Browser, it will directly show u the database on that software.

how long does blackrain take to reboot the iphone...

hmm.. my iphone 3gs keep drop line is that any problem is relate to the JB?? is that any other problem??
