hmm...eh..i tot app store need to pay???

I just got my new Maxis Black 3GS 3.12 MC model . JB using blackra1n latest ver from geohot website. Successfully JB the device , installed cydia , backgrounder . After reset the 3GS turned into Itunes recovery mode ( itunes picture and USB cable ) . Anybody having this kind of issue? is there any potential fix?

Is thr an app store which u Noe of is nt charging ppl for apps? Head over to gs, look for sm iTunes credit n use them to make ur purchases. Or u can use credit card if u planning to use msian app store.

There are also free apps available.....some of which are quite good actually.

You got the new device with new bootrom. You have to bear with it for the moment.

u need to run blackra1n again...for now ur phone need tethered jailbreak because of the new bootrom...the the rom only allowed instruction to be fetch...

hi people. does blackrain last few steps (to unlock) need an active WiFi connection? or EDGE will be fine? and how much data is blackrain going to download to unlock the phone?

i on DiGi. 10k = 10sen. i kena 2 times EDGE charges...... added up RM60, for just download 2 small programs from appstore. scared d. lol.

Guys , beware with you jailbroken iphone... change the root pass now, my iphone just infected with that stupid worm.. so i need to restore my iphone, now i already change the root pass...

what root pass are you referring to?

you can refer iclarified regarding those password...it shows u how to change it....

follow that link to change root password, but first you need to install a program name MobileTerminal from cydia..

then only you can change the root password, by typing su , then continue typing passwd , then enter your new password..

for changing the mobile password, just simply write passwd, and you can change it... ( default pass is alpine)

Hey familykien, u can try 2 entre dfu mode by holding on home n restart button for 10 secs den everything will be fine
