my cydia crashed too...
i did delete all the files in private/var/lib/apt/lists EXCEPT the 'partial' folder. the results? works like a charm...  you can follow this following youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v87zX98aw1k |

My Cydia come out with this error: "Database
Encountered a section with no Package: header". Wat does it mean? & some time error "Note: Cannot Locate Package". When go to section --> All Pakcages, nothing there. Wat should i do? |

i encountered mine yesterday Cydia bounds back to springboard after installing BiteMMS and updated Cydia...
I suspect i update Cydia causes crashes.... |

to JB using blackra1n, should I let it connect to iTunes or should I close iTunes program before executing the blackra1n program?
Added on December 30, 2009, 7:35 pmwhy does it prompt me to restore after JB? Should I restore? I'm stuck at the connect to iTunes screen on my phone. It doesn't reboot after i JB. Only showing me the connect to iTunes screen.. Added on December 30, 2009, 8:58 pmmanaged to get it to work after re-run Blackra1n. What happens if I were to reboot my phone? You're right. I'm not sure if there's a way around this. Just got my phone about 2 weeks back, the version is 3.1.2. Jailbroke it using blackra1n, but when I restarted the phone, it requested for iTunes to be plugged in.
So I did, and the only option was a message to "restore" the phone. The next step required a 300MB "OS update" download via iTunes which took a few hours on our wonderful Streamyx line. No ways around it, so went ahead with the restoration process. Lost some apps, smses and photos, but otherwise everything went OK. |

hi everyone, im new in this jailbreak thingie.. y'day when i use my cydia... it wrote that if an iphone does not unlock with pwnage tool, will not be able to unlock anymore after this due to apple's settings or something like that.
