The only way I can think of is to go to any Maxis centre and ask them to verify for you by checking the serial no. If it is not theirs, then it is SingTel's.

Hi, i'm using iphone 2g. Initially i installed OS 3.1.2(for 2g). Then i changed my mind and decided to restore it to OS 3.01 (for 2g). After that, tried to jb with both redsn0w and blackra1n, but it doesnt work. for blackra1n, it keeps showing the screen where there is an usb cable and itunes. What happened? how can i fix this?

If not mistaken blackra1n works on 3.1.2 only.
So, you must first upgrade to 3.1.2, then, run the blackra1n...

Hi guys. Just got my iphone 3gs on 3.1.2

Managed to JB using blackra1n but is it true i need to run it again everytime i reboot the phone to skip the recovery mode screen?

No way around this cumbersome method?

I have just unlocked and jailbroken my 3gs (3.1.2) with blackra!n.This worked fine, however when I started to dl apps from cydia, some worked, but when i tried to dl Backgrounder for 3.x and up, it installs then and then at the end of the scrolling text it asks me to "REBOOT" instead of "Return to Cydia". So when i click reboot, it locks up my phone and I have to restore and jail break it over again. it stuck at the USB connect to Itunes symbol. Can anyone help with this?

u have bought a new batch of iphones which have a new bootrom n is causing tat...u can jb ur phone..but everytime u reboot ur phone, u'll be stuck thr...
thr is no fix for tat at the moment...so u either can wait for it n use ur phone as it is or make damn sure ur phone doesnt run out of bat..

anyway what is the best software to browse your iphone, such as cyberduck or ifunbox...purpose of this is to upload themes..I've been trying with cyberduck(MAC version) it keep showing me invalid IP address...

I accidentally click on something in the end I lost my profile Itunes can't read my previous profile, may I know how can I restore my previous profile, as each time we sync there should be a backup file stored in our PC...If iI click on the restore button in Itunes that will update my 3.1 --> 3.1.2 I would like to remain my 3.1..PLEASE help

I just upgraded to 3.1.2 (3Gs), once after installing Cydia where I can see "Cydia" icon on my screen it still not jailbroken yet.. Did I missed out any configuration part? Sorry this is my first time using Blackra1n... Please advise*Sorry with all the beginner questions*

What do u mean still not Jailbroken?
After you run the Blackra1n application on your PC/Mac, you will see "Blackra1n" app on your iPhone. Thus, yr iPhone is "Already Jailbroken".
After installing Cydia, you will see the Cydia icon on yr JB phone.

izzit possible if i remove Cydia to make my phone become normal?? or just restore to default factory setting?? because its really alloying to make a damn sure its not run out of battery!!! pls advise!! thx

sorry guys I've tried 2nd time JB using Blackra1n yet still the same...Do I have to download anything from cydia?

guys, i'm facing a problem here.. i've jb my phone countless time and don't see to ahve a problem. but when i did it on my friend's phone yesterday, the jb process was fine.. but now that he switched off his phone, he cant turn it back on. it shows a cable and itunes pic on the display.. and when he plugged it his com and connect it to itunes, it says that it is in recovery mode, please restore phone. this is the 2nd time we tried. what should i do?
