during rebooting
how long did you guys waited ?

during i wan to install it ...
i stuck at "done, wait for reboot"

i waited almost 10 minutes
my phone still haven reboot

After upgraded to 3.1.2, it only took 2 minutes to "Blackra1n" my 3GS.
However, it took a longer time to download the Cydia (due to speed of my WiFi). However, within 45 minutes, I have Jailbroken my 3GS with 3.1.2 and Cydia installed.

i just toasted my phone with an error 23... anyone know how to fix this?
i googled around the net but a lot solutions, no credibility...
can get into DFU or recovery mode, but after extracting FW, error 23 came out FUUUUU

thinking of going for warranty... i erased all my JB trace, deleted cydia, blackrain, sbs ect folder.. can they still trace my JB?

You can always send it in and try. But they would normally troubleshoot and if the fault can be restified, they would do it and return the unit to you.

must i bring all the stuff over to warranty instead of the phone itself?

If you are the original owner, just need to bring the unit itself and of course the Service/Warranty Card. Let me here advise you that if yours is an i3G you will probably get a refurbished set in replacement if at all they cannot rectify the fault. But if it is a 3GS, there is a chance you will get a new unit which may then require you to exchange the whole set.

mine is a 3gs... hopefully i can get a NEW xD one next week, but i'm abit skeptical about it

hi everyone, wanna ask, i got an iphone 3g 16gb, mb500za, is it officially unlocked? im not dare to use blackra1n to jb it, i had checked the list just now, my phone is in singapore and malaysia set i guess, there shown mb500za/a , im not sure bout it why got ' /a ' . anyone can help me before i using blackra1n to jjb?

I thought you said you have restored your unit to its original state?! If at all they detect that you have jailbroken your phone, the warranty will be null and void which means henceforth you cannot send in your phone anymore for any claim whatsoever.

As regards your query, I have already answered in the affirmative that it is officially unlocked but because for the i3Gs we used to get the stock from Singapore, the Part/Model nos. are the same. To differentiate, Maxis sets come with the Service/Card Card.

i believe, if you inter ur IMEI number at apple website to check the warranty, apple will tell u ur iphone under what official carrier. as for me, the website will show Maxis.

correct me if i'm wrong.

my 3gs problem is baseband error, i can't connect it to itunes to restore..
i searched online about the error they say even if the phone has been jail broken, but just for safety, i used pc suite to go in to delete all the cydia, blackrain ect folder..
hope they don't giv much of a dam and just give me a replacement
