hi guys. now im running 3.1.2. i wanted to do restore , jailbreak and unlock. what i need to do is it:

download a 3.1.2 fw 1st
& blackra1n

only ?
then restore it with itunes by holding Shift key click "restore"
after the restore is done, just use blackra1n.

then everythings will be done ? included jailbreak and unlock.

can somebody answer my little question please. gonna do a restoration. thanks..

u cant restore 3.1.2

i succeed. after 10 minutes of restore, my phone can get back to factory looks. i think my set is singapura set, because without run anything, it show "activated" then my digi signal is show to me.

i done if before,i just reset my i3gs - use : Erase All Content and Setting, then i activated back via itunes, my i3gs fw still stick at 3.1.2 ,means i dont hv to restore at all.
then i straight away jb use blackra!n.. that all..

lucky u. Now my iphone is locked and un-jb. Just can see the connector screen with emergency call..........

Just go with iPhone Dev Team or Geohot. It's already been proven with them. Those fakes came out because people are desperate for 3.1.3/untethered jailbreak.

i think the best would be stick to new fw release then the jailbreak from geo-hot or dev team..as frozzbyte says...

Added on April 26, 2010, 12:56 pmit easy...first you must know what set you have bought..???which country..??if it is aus,singapore,malaysia then no problem to upgrade because no unlock needed but those from uk or us you need do and unlock stuff using blacksnow through jailbreaking...is you upgraded to 3.1.3...then im sorry to say thta you need to wait for the 4.0 fw releasse then upgrade it ..and the jailbreak will be out too...

hmm.. The iPhone is generally battery sucking device in the first place. Jailbreak is just an approach for the phone to allow 3rd party app.

So I don't think jb iPhone will cause the battery to be
drain more compared to the non-jb

is it true iphone 3gs 3.1.3 cannot be jailbreak? not so convincing statement from geohot..

but how about 3g 3.1.3? same ?

It can be jailbreak, but geohot does not want to waste the exploit on a minor update (3.1.2 --> 3.1.3)

so he wait for the os 4.0 to be officially released only he release the jb
