The spell that does that is Shadowburn. If any mob (that yields experience) that die from this spell, you will gain a soulshard in return. However, bear in mind that the spell also uses a soulshard upon cast. so the net gain = 0. One more thing, it has a 30s - 1min cooldown between each use.

How do you get this spell? Spec enough points in destruction. to get shadowburn.

It's playable. Even on Ti4200, there should be no problems. Best you have 1gig of RAM though, makes a big difference.
