Nuff said. DOTA is the same map , doing the same thing and we even have DOTA in WoW , its called Strand of the Ancients , its similar to dota but in real 3D !

cataclysm end game any different from burning crusade for casuals?

BC i boredom at end game cos no time to raid. i think i quit sometime around the argent championship or something. cataclysm i interested to replay a bit to see content. but is end game also boring and nbtd like BC?

DOTA have some limitation but wow not. i dun think it's not good idea's to compare wow with DOTA. WoW is too good. Hey we talking about the number 1 games in the world for MMORPG. ;-)

Pugs are still doable, just gotta brief pre-pull. It will definitely be slower but hey a shot at the Call to Arms reward make it worthwhile lol

I've only had 1 good experience pugging it so far. The rest were with guild lol.

Gonna take a while for the general pug to learn the fights, I'll wait for that before going for call to arms heh.

I like how its not faceroll, lots of things happening. Bored of ezmode through current heroic 5mans already. Time for a good challenge

How do you gear up at level 85 to make yourself eligible to do heroic dungeon?

do normal 85 dungeon?

Do normal dungeon, buy ZA/ZG gear (ilvl 353) from AH as shortcut

u forgot..buy gold first

what is your class and position(tank?heal?) btw? in official forum there mostly have a sticky threat about how to gear/play for heroic

try replace most of your questing gear, as they are only good for normal instance.

you must 1st collect as many good quality gear from normal instance/dungeon for your class as possible.
only then you are qualified for heroic dungeon,
also be patient, most players will try to vote kick you from heroic just because they want to finnish the dungeon as fast as possible and without wipe.

you can also buy craft gear from player, most high end profession craft gear are heroic entry gear,
equipt craft gear should be a fast way to get heroic entry gear.

if you have ALOT of gold, you can shop your gear in the auction house.(even faster)

there other/neutral faction can sell you good gear if you have a good reputation with them.
but it would take a long time

you CAN get a good stat from a PVP gear(if you really can't find a replacement from questing gear), but its not encourage able, as some player might laugh at you(because he think he is way better than you.

also remember to put suitable stat gems and enchant your gear, as this will help you perform better in heroic instance


another way is to join a friend guild, and kindly ask for help; just remember to return the favour

im confuse on choosing the location region, they only stated US, Oceanic and Latin America... which one should i choose?? currently im choosing US... sorry to trouble you guys with my question and any info would be much appreciated
