hi guys, Im about to reach lvl 70 and to lvl beyond that till lvl 80 requires the lich king expansion right? I just need to buy the code right? and does it need to patch the whole game again?

if you are running on WotLK client and patch 3.3.2 (of course you are), there wont be a patch up, if not there would only be a client update.

warning, if you TBC and patched to 3.2.2 once installed Wotlk . the patch will downgraded acording to the CD patches. so you have to patch again to 3.2.2 :/

^ so its better to just buy the code, not the game box with CD if already patched to 3.2.2 ?

To Borean. Outside Orgrimmar and turn Right, Where the ship that take to thunder bluff.
PS . wait for the Shark-alike ship to get to nothrend.

stormwind port: it's big, it's luxurious, it's inside stormwind and it's a place where you can see horde players jumping up and down in thaurisan - takes you to Borean Tundra, a place where D.E.H.T.A will hate you and it'll just bore you to death...

Menethil Harbor: somewhere in wetlands with dwarfs everywhere, close to arathi highland - take a ride to Howling Fjord, a place where experience is free where the mobs are being spammed by server ... minus the loot

sup guise, just hit 80 and wondering how do some char mostly tank got high hp like 40k and above? mine still 18k only..

and how do they get the ".. the Patient/Crusade ..." at their name? participate in PvP/achievements?

the title mostly come from achievement.

And don't bother tanking unless you got around 30k hp, people are going to whine. run normal Trial of the Champion (5 man) until you get black heart, that is one of the best tanking trinket heroic wise. another one dropped at Heroic Azjol-Nerub.

Get more Gear from Heroic, get T9 with badge purchase and dont forget the ilvl 245 helm/shoulder from the badge too, if you got a lot of change to spare, get the blacksmith iLvl 261 bracer, belt and greaves.

by the way, which class are you playing?

start tanking at this time is the hard part, since there will be some TOC, ICC, geared run daily heroic just for the badge. they can easily pull aggro from you.

i'm not sure what tanks need, stamina, defence cap, block, etc
its about upgrade your gear and gem it and enchant it. it will cost you lots of gold, and hard work, hopefully it'll pay off.
even the gear is in blue, gem and enchant it anyway. food buff helps.
oh and use shield. unless your a dk.

join a helpful guild that help you get your gears, if they do(carry you) that, remember to help them back as well.

my advise is, you have to start do 78~80 dungon as a DPS 1st,
when you group, tell all of them you are gearing up a tank, remember to skip dps gear. need it if no one need it.
when you "think" you can't improve your gear anymore from normal 78~80 instance, then do the easy heroic, UK, VH, nexus, etc
grind the sons of hodir faction in storm peak, you need to chain quest start in K3 neutral outpost to meet the faction. it got a good shoulder enchantment.
check wowhead for which dungeon you can find your needed gear.

use the daily badge wisely to buy gear in dalaran or toc

your play a paladin right?

for title, you have to perform a feet, to earn it. its cool but you don't really need it.
like complete all hallow end achievement to get XXXXX the hallowed,
kill raid boss XXXX the kingslayer,
the Patient is pug 50 times,
crusader is exalted with argent crusade and argent dawn(?),
mostly you can check your achievement for them,
and at your charater panal, you shuld be able to choose which title you want.

soo many stuff you guys mention that Im not familiar with,( I will Wiki those words )

Im thinking of doing Dungeon lvl72 - 80 for th time being ..like Drak'tharon Keep to get better equips then doing dungeon with higher minimum level. After that maybe will try those raid, heroics..

and yes, I've read the wreckys tank guide too.. mentioned about 696 cooldown thingy.. I have practiced that when levelling up. Havent tried in dungeon yet.
Maybe I should said that 'Im noob tank,need guidance' in each dungeon for now to avoid being called 'Fail Tank'..

err, the new expansion, Catalysm, out already?
