Hi, can someone with papago tell me whether it can do address search like you put no, jalan etc because I heard that it can't do that. Appreciate if someone can let me know. Thanks.

Yes it can do that....it solely depends on your map actually.

will iphone4 get heated when using gps app like iphone 3g or iphone 3gs?
*
It gets slightly warmer then when not in use but it runs much cooler than iphone 3GS, i believe its due to the ip4 screen is using LED backlight (cooler) compared to 3GS cathode backlight which runs hotter n consume more battery power.

Anyone with updated PPG 7 care to comment if there are other improvements other than the updated map?
*
Improve on stability....and probably PPG7 supports IOS multi-tasking...means can run in the background.

Map updates usually comes as part of App Updates which is d/l via Itunes. If u purposely wanna update the map only on your own....its a different story.

Waze at present only useful for me when I wanna know whether any traffic jam / police road block reports nearby my area or along the path I am going.

Not good enough to navigate yet.

Indeed, any GPS app will suck the batt juice because of the GPS chip...not the app.

@dtdw

I thought I read GARMIN not gonna develop apps for 3rd party device anymore...its GMXT is no longer on going.....from now on, it's all just gonna be in their proprietary GARMIN device....correct me if I am wrong but we wont be seeing garmin on our iphones..
