I installed Papago yesterday it's look great! First time GPS user and amazed....quality is good as the one i used the GPS in USA previously....

But bad things happen today - when i start the application, after a while, the application will jump out back to iphone GUI!! mad.gif So, i reinstalled it from my itune and so far looks OK.....

but question on papago: why the Papago POI seach input character is only limited to 23 alphanumeric characters ah? Is all GPS software POI seach is like that? Anyone can advise? hmm.gif

Another question i have is our iphone 3gs is A-GPS right?or GPS? If A-GPS, does it means it will use maxis 3G data to access the telco tower to detect our location?

Yes, a, b and c are definitely a MUST for the next upgrade. Also a (d)...

d. Save preferred/actual route into favourites.

Let's hope Maction will put these in for the next map release... and hope it is soon... cos the current map is dated 26 June 2009.

Can someone please feedback to them directly? How to do that?

hi guys,

Yesterday i tried with Papago with iphone setting "Airplane Mode" ON....but my iphone 3gs cannot get the signal from satellite at all after I was driving on the road for 20mins......but once i turn OFF the "Airplane Mode" which means my phone line is back with 3G ON, the GPS can detect my location instantly.

So, does this mean that our iphone 3gs with "A-GPS" chip will only work when we have the 3G line ON? I'm trying to save money by not using 3G data but only the A-GPS to get signal from satellite but doesn't work..... cry.gif

Anyone try before ah?
