Tried using tomtom on my 3gs in Malacca. Managed to get me to where I wanted to go after quite a few wrong turnings due to the occasionally bad and slow reception...

It's actually very sad to say this but the Garmin on my last e71 is just way better. It's fast, accurate and definitely more reliable...

Btw, as some has experienced it before, the phone gets really hot after using the GPS for awhile and not to mentioned how fast it drains the battery...

Just wondering will garmin actually develop a version for the iPhone.
anyway,tried google maps yesterday.works fine but just not as convenient as a voice navigation software.
Hopefully the google maps navigation will b available with the next update. Looks good from the online articles.

let's just hope apple finally comes to terms with google and offer us the maps navigation soon.
