i had the same experience. I tried following method and it will get the GPS signal pretty fast.
On your EDGE and 3G, tap to open TomTom and you will get the GPS signal. Once done, disabled EDGE and 3G. |

i had tried both iphone to get the current location, but one of the phone not showing the correct location. Is that anything i can do on the setting side?
