PPG isn't perfect but since you've been using Garmin previously, you'll know the advantage of PPG is the map database.

While software can be blame at times for low signal etc, you should realize that it's the first time you start the app. Every GPS app will need sometime for a cold start. Everyone know that.

Secondly, hardware can be blame as well. I'm pretty sure iPhone doesn't equipped with SirfStar III if you what I meant.

Try other GPS app for iPhone and if response is slow, it's a safe bet to say that hardware does carry the responsibility as well

Told you guys before, that the coordinate option is a natural update to M6. The X5 already have it way before this so I can't see why M6 can't have it

I only bought PPG as I believe in extensive map and update (though MfM seems to halt the update for the time being). Thus, I can't say it's better than other apps out there. But in terms of map coverage, PPG should stand out from the rest.

Just went to East Coast Malaysia using Papago with latest map updates.

Reporting that the route to Terengganu and Kelantan all good. Highway and even some short cuts in Terengganu and Kelantan go into jalan kampung, hahaha... my convoy party a bit surprised.

The only problem when entering the Kota Bharu city itself. All navigation failed 100%, big time fail....! Currently the roads there are all one way routes. Papago drove me crazy asking to turn against traffic at every corner. Lastly I just quit papago and navigate using the road signs, old school way better smile.gif

But congrats on navigating my party up until Rantau Panjang. So thumbs up Papago!!!

Papago is very good in KL, the routes are updated with many JVs

I drove to KL first time in my life and papago makes my life in KL a breeze, the scary tales of getting lost in KL urban jungle and take a wrong highway to find urself in seremban are over.

I recommend to my frens, as they were lost in KL and had to call up their frens come out to guide them.

Next trip to KL, would be an all guys fun trip...hehehehe

In Pg, papago has very few JV but the routes fine..gets u where u wants

double tumbs up for papago, but if turning is not lag, my toes are up too.

Why not? From where you get so many papagos?

If previously your papago was fine. Problem might lies here, try delete IGO My Way. And remember to "ON" your location under setting.

Used PPG in Kuantan today. Worked like a charm. Even found an address in a housing area without much problem. Without it, I would been driving around in circles, been more than 10 years since I last visit this town. Thumbs up!

After upgrade to iOS4, I notice my Papago only took 1-2 secs to lock the satellite signal!
Compare to 3.1.3 last time, it take me abt 8-10 secs only can lock the signal, man this is really a good improvement! Anyone experience the same thing like me? smile.gif
