in term of space, K-62

in term of airflow, Cm690

in term of balance, Midgard

do note that CM690 have little space opening for high end graphic card. HD5870 just barely fit and HD5970 just going to screw the case airflow like a total idiot. K-62 is better in both term, unless you are mentioning K-58 which more suited into those category of pricing (RM 250-300). but Lancool's casing got a problem with it screw-less mechanism but still a good choices. Midgard is mediocre and the build is somehow not as tough as it looks.

But in the end, its all about your preferences, whether you into airflows, spacing or just sheer looks.

i am not pretty sure myself whether my friend encounter unluckiness or what, but the back extension panel and the HDD panel seems a bit too fragile for a little rough handling.

That is what i'm encounter on one of the K-62/K58 that i play around.

storm scout would win in term of beauty, and the airflow is quite fair in performance. The problem with scout is spacing. it can't even fit 5870 and 5850 just barely fit in... this will disturbed the airflow.

if you have to choose between those, i would say a solid K-62

If ur budget is enough..get a haf922..
is the best

if TS don't mind cleaning the interior from dust every now and then, HAF series is the way to go. The airflow is second to none and the look is amazing. but the problem come in is dust dust and dust...

scout cannot fit 5870 mer?

try it, i bet you want to break the case into two. It make the all beautiful mid tower case look like a joke. Scout is smaller than CM690 in term of form factor and CM690 barely fit HD5870 sacrificing the whole slot hence the airflow. do the math with scout.

it's not bad, its mediocre. The built look tough but it doesnt feel tough when you touch it, it felt "longgar" here and there.

I would not say in a few days time, i clean my casing once per month on average (or twice or thrice when i am dead bored). and there are not so many dust to wipe actually. but i got a good tendency to see dust here and there stuck on the mesh grill, especially on the larger holes. Get a smaller mosquito net like mesh grill and install it between the fan and the large mesh grill and you are good to go.

how about top??
although is exhause but when u switch off the fan sure got dust come down..did u use any filter or wad to avoid it?

nope no filter... yet, planning to get a set of those filter later and mod the case somehow. Both the side and top mesh have identical diameter.
