What casing would be good for HD6850/6870/6950?
I see CM311 on local shop, wonder if can fit without problem.
I look at there again when shop reopen after raya.

What is your actual budget and do you need the extra room for upgrade...

Eh I heard the new Corsair Carbide 400r has landed in MY...nice casing le...so which one now? HAF912 or that?
*
I'd personally got for the carbide 400R , it's more spacious than the 912 , more better cable management , a wider cpu retaining hole , and you can add more fans on the case compared to the HAF 912.
Also note that the 400R is more bigger than the HAF 912 and the main competitor is the CM 690/II.

QUOTE(SixCylinder @ Aug 31 2011, 08:21 PM)
Hi guys may i know whats the difference between CM692II Basic & advanced?
*
not only what cmgan72 said , the advance comes with a 2.5 SSD Bracket in the top HDD Cage , it also comes with a GPU Retention bracket to support your graphics card and the finishing black interior.

So how much ah? The Carbide 400R? My budget below RM300. Don't want CM 690 please.  laugh.gif Oh yea I forgot I'm talking about the HAF 912 Plus with black interior.  blush.gif
*
Corsair Carbide 400R
It's ... yea around RM300 , that's why i said , it's the competitor for the CM690/II.

Ok, so 1st choice is Corsair Carbide 400R if don't have then go for HAF 912 Plus? What about The Define cases? They look like very high quality from my eyes not sure about the price tho  hmm.gif  Care to enlighten me?  icon_question.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
*
1st choice would be Carbide 400R , second you might wanna go for the contender , the Cooler Master CM690 II Plus/Advance.

Define series from Fractal Design?
Their good , but still haven't seen any seller brought it in yet (From what i know of)
Their case *frankly speaking* , a bit dull.

I don't mind dull...can always mod de ma tongue.gif

But anyways I more on the type of guy that is more on function then fashion. biggrin.gif So, any ideas to find that case ? ^ LYP got?
*
Case with added sound dampening is harder to mod , since the manufacturer glues the dampening foam to the case pretty good.
And , i don't think theres this case in MY yet , not much seller bring it in.

QUOTE(lonelystarz @ Sep 3 2011, 08:32 PM)
any other good case like the fractal define r3 that have noise dampening materials? what i know is Fractal Design R3, NZXT H2 and CM Silencio 550.
*
Those 3 are the best for sound dampening.

Other than that , you need to mod your case with sound dampening foam to achieve the level of those case.

Roger that !
*
I wouldn't say it's true... but some case manufacturer do that.In order to make the sound dampening foam stick to every part of the interior of the case.

Looks not bad but how about cable management? It doesn't have dedicated hole to route the cable to the back of the mobo... Or I can manage it in other way?

My rig would be simple,
i3 2100 +_ stock HSF
Powercolor HD4670
2x HDD, one DVD rom
*
If you wan simple cable management , can go for the Elite 311 Plus , should be on stock at shops now.

There should be some sellers in the forum selling those , try to custom search for them.
