there's no need to mod anything just to accommodate a thick 360 rad with push pull fan setup or 2 slim type 360 on c2 bro, except if u'r using ax1200 psu... then there's a slight mod needed. But if u want something that looks really good then as usual a voiding warranty mod are necessary..

aerocool vs-9 or coolermaster usp100?

dear guys im looking for a case to fit my very wide hyper 212+ HSF. my current case cant close.

i think i need a 190 or 200mm wide case rite? btw when they say 190mm or 200mm.... is it from outside or inside the case measure?

even with 200mm........putting a side fan wud be challenging i think.......

what chassis are we taking abt here? & Whats ur budget??
the width of the chassis on the manuals are measured from the outside...
best to refer to the manuals for maximum cooler height support cause even if two different chassis is both 190mm wide, doesn't mean that both could support the same cooler

ATX chassis lor.......budget ah..........not more than 300 lor if can...........200 is like the best figure.

I'm in the midst of deciding my rig, and would be really grateful if someone can point me in the right direction for casings.

Requirements (I hope I'm not asking for too much )

1. Must have USB 3.0
2. Minimalistic look (I'm leaning to looks like the Merc Alpa, Silencio...something very simple).
3. Mid-tower or smaller would be nice. Don't really want it to stand out like a sore thumb in my room
4. Ideally, below RM 200.

Hope I'm not demanding the world with the requirements

Why not you just buy the bitfenix or coolermaster usb 3.0 front panel adapter? It's still within your budget if you buy that merc alpha.

Final question:

I did a little bit more of looking around, and finally stumbled upon this other casing.

I'm still quite liking the Merc Alpha...but don't mind the look of this Xigmatek.

Feature-wise, it seems that ti trumps the Merc Alpha though. Hence the indecisiveness.

Which would you guys recommend...and why?

^ the xig is a good find, and it has a windowed version to boot with USB 3.0... it might be pricier than the Merc Alpha though
