i read here the sata port was blocked. Not all mobo will face this same problem right?
Carbide 400R is designed for up to ATX form factor. Rampage III Extreme is an exception since it belongs to the Extended-ATX gang. Regular ATX motherboards are highly unlikely to have the ports blocked.

WTA.. which one is better, in term of cooling n cable management? CM elite 311 plus or thermaltake v3 black edition?
cable management wud be about the same for both casings except elite will look much better. but for cooling i think more on v3 although i dont like the way the hdd rack being mounted.
both 311 and tt v3 also got holes if u look closely. only 311 got proper cutout which makes it nicer
Not nicer but easier, Thermaltake V3 is not hole, its a huge space to side panel, but you have to bring all the cables to the front and only to side panel, take a look picture above, CM Elite 311 is much direct and straight because of the side panel hole.

thats what i said. 311 will look nicer. and there is a hole in tt v3 just above the psu
