For < RM300 budget, you can try the SilverStone KL04 and Lianli PC-7HX, the new SRP is RM299.

currently i am using CM Cosmos 1000, since 2008. I've been using Gigabyte P35 with intel Q6600.

Recently I had upgraded my Gpu to Asus n560gtx ti top directcu2. And i have also installed Cm hyper 212 evo.  i plan to upgrade my system to Z77 with i7 3770 in few months time. as i also travel much. i really need to have a new light chassis. cosmos 1000 is a b*tch to lug around.

so im looking at mid tower with rm300 budget, can push to rm350 max. and able to hold all my 5 HDDs. possibly add 1 more Sdd later.

my choice for lightness and easy to carry wud be the original storm scout, the latest storm scout 2 or storm trooper. i know scout2 sucks for its default fans which i need to invest more.

my other choice wud be cm 690 adv 2 black n white. both for looks and features. not sure if its light enough.tho. plus it does not have a.handle. i have no plan for WC, but i am sure to make a dual sli soon after i upgraded to Z77.

and if possible i wud prefer if i can get the chassis in ipoh, but thats not a major issue.

IMHO, I like the design of the Lian Li, really sleek look with adequate fan filters and sturdy aluminium design

but the Pantheon is what one might be more familiar with as it's another version of the CM690II where you'd have the additional cooling options built into the chassis..

So here is my advice.. if you're having problems with heat and wishes to look at the internals of your PC with extra features, go for the Pantheon

If you're looking to have a nice and simple little subtle monster sitting on your desk or as a home entertainment PC in the living room, I'd go for the Pc-7hx

What if i were to pick something lasting for the future?    a case worth investing for long term.

called dell this evening but unfortunately they answers customer calls only till 3pm on saturdays..if i cant get dell then the next current choice is the lian li pc-7hx mentioned in this thread before..simple and neat

nice also..how about CM elite 370? Simple as well..might save extra cash 

yup..no front USB3.0 just two USB2.0. so bro..has the lian li casing arrives in lowyat or digital mall yet? what is the price actually? if too pricey (tho its way cooler) ill have to opt for the elite370.. both mid tower type right?

Hi guys, I want to ask for your advice since all of you never fail to enlighten me lol!

Whats the best casing for this criteria:
1. Budget max RM200, most preferable at RM150
2. Excellent airflow for HDDs
3. Good cable management
4. Has support for at least 6x 3.5" internal bays
5. Can Support mATX/ATX
6. Will not install PCIE GPU, hence case length is not of a concern
7. USB 3.0 is not required

I'm setting up a home server for backup/video storage, which most probably will run 24/7. Putting at least 6 HDDs on RAID 10, with interest on upgrading to 8HDDs should the case allows it.

Included fan is not required, but if included then it's a bonus. I can always replace other better fan.

However it can only mount single 120mm/140mm fan at front right? Not sure if that is good for cooling off the HDDs that run 24/7. :/

Hm, let's see, using Xigmatek Asgard Pro:

1x 140mm Fan at front as intake
1x 120mm Fan at bottom as intake
1x 120mm Fan at back as exhaust
2x 140mm Fan at top as exhaust

This setup will create negative pressure, which I believe suits this case nicely.
And I prefer 140mm more as they produce less noise with roughly equivalent CFM to the 120mm.

Well, I was thinking of using either CM Hyper TX3 or CM Hyper 212 Evo, but my concern as for now is on the HDDs.

Apart Asgard Pro, would you think NZXT Source 210 (regular, not the USB 3.0) would be a much better alternative to Asgard Pro though?

Planning to upgrade my pc case.. here my choices. Corsair 600T white window and the CM Storm Stryker. which case has better air flow and im planning to water cool my CPU and GPU.. any Corsair 600T or Stryker user can gimme a feedback ? which casing should i go to ?
