so many choices from xigmatek  sweat.gif

currently im more towards corsair 300r

cm already too common for me....

phantom 410 sidewindow isn't big enough

antec dark fleet have ugly front

hvnt really heard bout zalman casings... but they seem nice
between pantheon and 300r which have better water cooling potential ?
*
lol I just list down all that fit your budget

if between 300R and Pantheon, of course the Pantheon is better for WC.. Zalman is an old brand bro and they've had chassis for a loooong time... been kinda quiet since 2009 though but it's a reputable name in the PC hardware scene wink.gif

yea i know of zalman, for their cpu and laptop cooler only. their casing seem nice from what i see, but reviews about them seem more less compared to the other 2

i guess i will settle for pantheon. thanks for suggestion
on a site note...i take a look at the phantom 410 despite disliking its small window since its the most expensive case among the list. how's this case for water cooling? have to admit the exterior design is hard to resist

other cases are around rm200+ but phantom 410 already reach rm350 mark, got better cases at this range ?
*
Well if you could raise the budget to RM350 then you could also consider the Corsair 400R, thats all I have for now smile.gif I don't know much abt Aerocool or Cougar but those looks nice too

i want ask about the shinobi XL can install 200mm fan on top??
just asking because i got 1 extra sad.gif
*
yes, mounting holes for 120mm, 140mm, 200mm and 230mm fans can be mounted there. You might have some difficulties mounting some 200mm fans as not all the mounting holes may not align properly. in this case, mounting only 2 of the screws is advised

I think I'm interested with Silverstone TJ08 and FT03 so far... Solid, minimalist. But Lian Li not bad.
*
you're better off with the tj08 imho the ft03 side panesl are snap-ons so not really ideal for travelling whistling.gif

How about Lian Li? They look good aren't they but I'm not sure of their size. I prefer mATX since the board are cheaper. Or at least mITX that support mATX board.
*
Lian Li has very good lineups, I can't say anything else as I don't have direct experience with them but they usually cost so much more because of their aluminium construct.

and one to note, no Itx chassis can support mATX mobo but there most mATX chassis supports Itx

I think I did read some ITX casing support ATX casing but with mod. But maybe I read it wrong. Maybe will grab the TJ08, if everything goes fine. And they support custom water cooling too.
*
with mod, any chassis can support anything, the limit there is the imagination, I beleive someone wanna mod the BitFenix Prodigy once to fit an mATX but I dunno if the project ever took off... hmm.gif

Guys, How about Aerocool Xpredator X1?
Or other case below RM200?
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Aerocool chassis is not really my choice and I'm gonna assume that you have an ATX motherboard, so here are my suggestions

CM SILENCIO 450 RM199
XIGMATEK ASGARD RM169

if you could stretch the budget by RM20, the BitFenix Shinobi Window is a good choice icon_rolleyes.gif

Hmm.. just google around the Silencio 450 and Asgard, the design is too simple and the important thing is the USB port is at the middle, i will have some external Hdd so when i plug in the hdd will no place to put...

Btw the Shinobi window is just quite nice, classic look and the port are at the top. But it only have black colour?
*
It comes in white as well wink.gif the Shinobi I mean

Btw, any more case recommendation?
*
there are a few more you could consider, I suggest that you go to chops to have a look after this wink.gif

Antec one / one-S3 Rm199 / RM195
Xigmatex Asgard 382 RM175
Zalman z5+ RM219

Hey guys. What is the smallest casing that can mount EX 360 rad without modification? Or I just should sell my old rad and get 240 to fit into smaller casing. Full tower extremely big for me. doh.gif
*
Not that I know of... some Mid tower chassis will support 240rad without problems but 360 will require mod... unless you mount it externally in a rad-box then only the tubing protrude out to the back

QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ Jun 6 2013, 10:51 AM)
I see... What are the casing then? External rad and tube look ugly IMO. biggrin.gif I'm still dilemma. I'm not sure how NZXT PHANTOM 410 build are. But honestly, I'm quite phobia with plasticky build. For example, Bitfenix Shinobi XL. And I f'king hate rubberized finished. Currently my option are:

1) Sell mobo, rad. Buy new mATX mobo, TJ08, 200mm/ 180mm rad. If I can sell my GTX 670 and wc kit, buy HD 7970, and proudly go for air cooling again.
2) Sell EX 360 rad, get a new 240 rad, get a mid tower casing. Reuse other component.
3) Get a new full tower and reuse everything. The problem is, full tower are damn heavy. And most of them have con. CM=Dust magnet. Corsair=Expensive. Bitfenix=Rubberized finished, plasticky. NZXT SWITCH 810=Look plasticky.

And my plasticky means fragile. And from all above option, I prefer go for number 1). But since like my item aren't moving, maybe I need to stick to a plan that minimize my damage (money).
*
Lol looks like I'm out of ideas like this, seems like all the major players have been kicked off in point no.3 tongue.gif

maybe a chassis is not for you?? go for open platform / test bench then whistling.gif just a suggestion hehe

I hate my self for being complicated tho. Yeah, I realized that I answered everything. doh.gif That's a no no for me. Nevermind, now I'm more keen to Corsair and NZXT. Been check at Thermaltake, wow! So futuristic. Not my taste. BTW, all full tower are build to be heavy?
*
Haha well at least you realized it yourself.. full tower chassis are heavy by nature due to it's size..otherwise it'll be flimsy and thats not a good feature to have on a chassis... Lian Li may have the lightest around as they used Aluinium for their chassis but they also costs a lot more than others...

Yup it can fit 240 rad at the top/front.
Somehow it is still the size of mid tower because it isn't small as other mATX chasis.
*
That's what you have to live with considering it has support for 240 rad(s)

Lotsa ppl will agree with you on that, that's why the phantom line is so sought after, I tend to see people going for sleek & smooth design nowadays.. not so ... "edgy" anymore... Silverstone, BitFenix, Corsair, NZXT, Jonsbo all going for the simple design nowadays

Lol looks like everyone is looking forward to the Prodigy M, well everything is kinda quiet after Computex, and with E3 going on there is not much news on new chassis but I believe the Prodigy M will make it's début eventually
