This year's 23rd issue of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine is announcing on Friday that a stage play adaptation of Karino Takatsu's Working!! manga has been green-lit. The play will run from May 11 to May 20 at Zenrōsai Hall's Space Zero in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward.

The magazine's 22nd issue had said that the next issue will reveal a new Working!! (Wagnaria!!) project in development. Young Gangan's 23rd issue and Vol. 2 of Big Gangan magazine (on sale on November 25) are both bundling Working!! posters illustrated by anime character designer Shingo Adachi. The two magazines' Working!! posters combine to form one big poster.

Karino Takatsu's original manga in Young Gangan magazine follows a high school freshman Sota Takanashi who works part-time at a restaurant with strange staff members. The first season of the anime version aired in Japan during the spring 2010 season. NIS America licensed the series last November and released it under the name Wagnaria!! in March. Crunchyroll is streaming the second season into several countries as it airs in Japan.
