QUOTE(LokiD.d.G @ Jan 15 2010, 06:14 PM) Yes. You have the Dell UltraSharp 2209WA. A 22" 1680x1050, IPS monitor that is selling for slightly above RM700 currently. Is the 2209WA a good buy? Are there any other IPS panels that can beat dell in quality or price?

Looking to get an LCD around RM700 but can't decide whether to get Dell 2209WA or ST2410. Guys, which one should I take? Size or IQ?

QUOTE(kkhong @ Apr 2 2010, 11:41 PM) it all depends on u, if u watch movie a lot, then size is a priority. If u do a lot of photo-editing, then get 2209WA. I actually do both photo editing and watch movies on the PC. Darnit, if only it is possible to see the difference in IQ between the two. Then it'll be easier to decide if the IQ is really worth the 2". Added on April 4, 2010, 5:18 pmQUOTE(everling @ Apr 3 2010, 01:16 PM) My old LCD monitor's colour is yellowish when compared to some new monitors. Is there anything that I can do to reduce the difference? I have tried messing around with the RGB and temperature settings but have not found a happy setting. What LCD is this? And how old is it? QUOTE(kkhong @ Apr 4 2010, 09:02 PM) well, if you're a professional photo editor, 2209WA might suit u more since the colour does not fade with ages that fast compared to normal TN-panel (as in the case of one of the forummer where white colour has faded to yellowish). This link gives you the review of Dell 2209WA from HardForum. Thx for all the advice, guys. Will take ST2410 then. Added on April 5, 2010, 1:18 amQUOTE(whatsayyou @ Apr 5 2010, 12:41 AM) Dell website is still listing it at RM1699. 999 is good price leh. Is this PC fair at JB? QUOTE(whatsayyou @ Apr 5 2010, 04:09 PM) 3yrs warranty. I think its a Dell retailer store. address is at Sutera Utama (in JB). asked the sales person some qns, but he didnt seem to know a lot. all I got was, his boss say this U2410 will sell for RM999 during the 3 days (pc fair jb). why so cheap? Boss said special price for the limited number of units he has. Are they coming to KL PC Fair to sell it at RM999 too?

QUOTE(justanime @ Apr 23 2010, 08:31 PM) I bundled the rm50 printer with the monitor. Printer is worth every cent..rm50 for all-in-one printer is very cheap! U can still use it as a scanner if you don't want to buy the ink refills in the future. I don't think can install CISS on it..tried to google/search lowyat forum for it but there's no news. Yes, the rm50 printer does look like a good deal. If anyone is buying the ST2410 and does not want the printer, then please sell it to me. I 've finally place the order for a G2410H for the WLED and height adjustable stand.
