but the differences are my lcd is 19", and i'm eager to upgrade it to 23"-24"

is it worth it?  unsure.gif

I do not know about you, but my 15" is definitely worth the upgrade tongue.gif

That is old story lar... technology advance from weeks to weeks.
A Samsung P2270H is running at 38W only, beats the so-called 40W on this W2252TE LCD, XL2370 with LED technology is just running at 28W!

So does this model sold at lowyat ? right now the price for LED is still expensive.XL2370 is RM 1k.
Maybe W2252TE is the firstLCD  energy saving.
Where to find this model ?
*
Some times ago my tiny 15" LCD sells at RM1450! I ask my fren to get at staff price also 1.1k.
IMHO for the new LED backlight XL2370 it is consider cheap.
And, I believe you can only find your W2252TE at garage sales now. It gets obsolete so fast.

This I know.
24" 1920x1080 with 24" 1600x900 yea 1920x1080 sharper.

24" 1920x1080 with 17" 1280 x 1024=?

1920x1080 sharper because he is 1080p?
*
Just do the math.
17" @ 4:3 resolution has effective pixels of 1280x1024=1,310,720 pixels fitted to a 13.5"x10" screen size which results into 135sq inch
So, per square inch it has 9,700 pixels.

24" @ 16:9 has: 1920x1080=2,073,600pixels. screen size 21"x12"=252sq inch.
So, per square inch it has 8,200 pixels.

17" sharper BUT it is smaller screen size.
