For one, it is quite a good quality monitor.

For two, you get Dell's legendary warranty policy to back your purchase up.
Yes. 1920x1080 is a full HD resolution, or 1080p.

quite a good? hmm.gif

btw, my last LCD last for 3 years... and kong... i hope dell 5 years warranty(top up) can last for 5 years.... then its a good bargain.... biggrin.gif

oh well, extra rm130 is considered quite a big gap for many, including myself sad.gif
i was comparing Viewsonic 2433 and Dell ST2410, which has similar price point of RM700, ST2410 is 0.5 inch wider, and as what another forummer said before, as ST2410 does not have built-in speakers, most probably we are paying for higher quality display instead of paying for inferior speakers smile.gif

not forgetting the warranty and after sales service too hahahhaha

though ur definitely paying for the extra 0.5"...

im loving my ST2410s....

I have an eye for this two.... but i have little knowledge regarding LCD's.... sweat.gif

DELL ST2310 RM619 and DELL E2310H RM569

from what i see the differences from the spec is... (ST series vs E series)

Contrast Ratio: Dynamic Contrast Ratio 50000:1 (max) vs 1000 to 1 (typical)

Connection : HDMI and DVI with HDCP vs DVI only

Display : Anti-glare and Full HD Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor vs Widescreen Flat Panel Display

the thing is,

1. Should i care bout the Contrast Ratio?
2. Should i care bout the HDMI? and HDCP? (Since both of them support Full HD resolution)
3. Anti-glare?

hmm.gif

i just placed order on the E2310H .. and my main usage for PC would be gaming and movie ..

why i choose over the ST2310 was because of the panel design, i prefer it being simple and clean cut .. without the glossy frame ..

as for HDMI, i dont think i would use it, it's unnecessary for me to have it.

how bout...
