2333 no worth....

old design,DC just 20000:1 if not wrong....that acer 80000:1,but still lose on design,wan buy then buy samsung P series....

the hardware life is based on how the user use....
i think u should go lowyat or pc shop compare self,only the eye can be trust.

I think it is not wise to compare the contrast rate directly as other company uses different scheme/ method/ unit . Example like high end view sonic will use 20 000:1 DCI and for high end acer 80 000:1 ACM ( Adaptive Contrast Management ) . Looking at the number makes you wanna go for Acer for sure, but note that is uses different unit. I've tried to find pro vs cons for both and which is better about both units but failed to get any direct comparison.
I do not know about Samsung 2333sw, but i am H233H user. Just bought it a week ago. And Rm 670 is way to expensive oi . I bought at the garage sales at Rm 659 . Some1 in lowyat also had seen H233H sold at Rm 599 in Pc fair. So walk around, find a good price yourself. H233H has 1.5W build in speaker which is loud enough for me. The only drawback is the direction of the sound is more at the back-top, hence it is advisable to have a wall behind the monitor to bounce the sound back to the front. If somehow u put the monitor in an open space / center of a room, people who are at the back monitor will hear the sound more clearer/ louder compared to the one facing the screen 
As for the display quality, yeah it is crystal clear. Really enjoyed watching HD drama and watching anime.
Some tips , it is best if you go to the shop and compare it front of ur eye. It is best to watch the video demo instead of watching Wallpapers. Some shop will display the monitor with High definition wallpapers that will attract you, but at the same time do not be fooled. You'll get different opinion when you watch it play a real live movie instead ( not anime )

but forget to say that acer H233H have 2 ver, 1 is 40000:1  another one is 80000:1 

this 2 same price , one is old ver , one is new ver  , but same model name
