advice needed, currently using dell 228wfp, planning to upgrade my screen in future.

Do you guys think that jumping from 22" (16:10) to 24" (16:9) got any noticeable difference other that the resolution change from 1680*1050 ? Do i get color improvement etc over the dell 228wfp if i go for the acer s243HL ? (current budget) or shall I wait and funding for maybe u2410 or the new 27" dell ultrasharp series (maybe 1 year later) as what come across my mind now is 22" - 24" like improvement not much. What do u guys think ...

do TN models come out nowadays got significant quality difference compare to TN panel that in the market during 2007 ?
