Looks like very limited budget. Actually VGA is not bad at all.. just that if you will have to adjust the clock and phase (or use "Auto Adjust") to avoid flickering on certain types of images (usually such as those with fine crosshatched patterns and alternate color pixel dithering). wink.gif

Not really, I have a Acer AL1717 which is 8ms and looks fine even when gaming or watching movies cool2.gif . About the Phillips one, not sure though.. unsure.gif

Upgrading from TN panel to an IPS panel such as Dell UltraSharp U2711 is very worth it (if you can afford the hefty price). You'll notice the differences immediately (and once you have used IPS panels, you don't want to ever go back to TN panels). brows.gif

i think philips is not bad as well. saw the display unit at viewnet and cant really see any difference from other 21 inch monitors.. jz smaller. crispness and clearness i cant really differentiate. mayb im a newbie.
hehe, btw, what do u mean by adjusting the clock and phase to avoid flickering on certain types of images?
i don really understand.. hehez.. newbie here sad.gif
