Not sure if this has been discussed before or the right place. I know over time LCD panels encounter dimming as the light tube starts to 'decay'. So far I encounter one that seems to function like 'day one' after 8 years - HP f1703. As the model suggest it is only 17"
I have seen some of the latest branded panels but the lighting is just not that bright. sharp or clear. Moreover, it starts to get dim after a year! This coming from a reputable brand (Sent for RMA liao)
So sifu, I want to know which technology and brand or spec should I be looking for?
