guys, am planning to get myself a new LCD to replace my old 19" segi empat sama biggrin.gif Samsung 932B Plus. was thinking about getting a 22" since the price for those size seems to be very irresistible. but then yesterday went to Digital Mall i saw 22" widescreen is not that big after all. so i've decided to go with 24"

requesting suggestions on which model i should buy. my budget is around rm600+, usage is for watching anime and movies, browsing internet and video call and light gaming. saw yesterday at Digital Mall Samsung clearly brighter than other model i.e. Acer and AOC. is that really the case?

thanks in advance smile.gif

Hi, i'm thinking of getting a new lcd monitor but with whats being offered i cant seem to make up my mind.

Usage : tv shows, movies, photos, gaming

Size : 23-24

Budget : up to RM700

Response time : 2ms( is this really necessary?)

P/S: I also would really like it if it had hdmi interface

Was considering : Viewsonic VX2433W( not too sure though)

Here's a review on it - @DigitalVersus
I find the reviews there to be pretty accurate.

Dear samsung users, Samsung introduced MagicTune for their monitor. As far as I know, this software let user calibrate their monitor to produce optimum result.

Does that mean the default setting is ....lousy? Will I get lots of improvement if I calibrated the monitor?

Just arrived 10mins ago, thank god it has no dead pixels. Hooked up to my PS3 and it looks great. Never expected it to be this huge, picture quality wise is up to my satisfactory level, though it might be different to other users. I'll get my God of War3 copy later in the evening and hook it up to try out more on this ST2410 biggrin.gif
