Hey guys, need some help around here..My monitor recently broke down and I need a monitor maybe after chinese new year... I have recently look into several monitors which are the dell U2410, U2711, samsung x2370(LED backlit), viewsonic(forgot which model), and also came across the LG E50 as posted here....The problem is this, I am planning to play new games later like Starcraft 2 and other new ones coming out, which should I go for? An ips-based monitor or the lg or samsung led one?

Interesting.

How is the pricing for the LG E50 series?

And roughly when will it come to Malaysia?
It will be attractively priced with more features: super-slim just 0.69 inches, 1080p Full HD resolution, Mega contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 and Smart+ package (Dual screen, Auto bright, Cinema mode, Original ratio).

It should be in all the major IT stores by early to mid March.

Hi there,

This video below might help answer your queries. LED monitors are generally more expensive than LCD monitors, but very small difference only.

So LED monitors are brighter, sharper, mega contrast ratio, lower TCO, lower risk of white dots, cooler, more energy savings & etc. thumbup.gif
