Agbonlahor - Very consistent this year
Rodallega - Could be the next one from Wigan to earn a move to a big club
Zavon Hines - The few times I saw him play he looks very lively. A bit like Jermaine Defoe
Cattermole - I haven't really seen him play, but the press seems to think he's the next big thing.
That Korean dude at Bolton - The next Park Ji Sung?

From my own club Arsenal, Kieran Gibbs is one for the future, but I feel Theo Walcott still needs to fulfill his potential this year once he's back from injury (and stays fit!).

Rising? many
Rising and Proven? not many

i gotta say some of the names above is under the category of rising..but not proven
thou on my club itself, Arsenal has many potential players rising, but not many has really proven themselve consistently
hard to judge

Rodallega like what zan81 said
perhaps this is one of the candidate that we can say he is rising and proven.
hmmmmm.....

Cattermole- proven, rising, best player in Sunderland, you name it, he has it.

He might not score as much as Bent did but easily the best player on pitch week in week out. The desire to win the ball, the anticipation, the stamina of his, everything seems positive for someone as young as he is.

Good player.Rising.Could easily be the next Las Diarra, Mascherano , Makelele

Oh, I wanna add Henderson from Sunderland.

That 19year old lad was good whenever he was on pitch.Nice pace he has.Could be the next star players in few years time.

Weih I also said Cattermole... Apa la fellow Gooner... Tak bagi muka langsung...

Oh and since there's a hint of bias-ness in this thread, I'm also going to throw in Alex Song for good measure. A year ago everyone (myself included) was calling for his head. Now, we're wishing he's not Cameroonian!

For GK, Wayne Hennessy at Wolves looks quite alright. More solid and better build than Joe Hart.
