 Need Help for buying LCD TV set

Let's make it short, I plan to buy LCD or Plasma 42"TV.

After a month of collecting information, I am so confuse. about the panel lah, contras ratio lah. ........... blink.gif rclxub.gif unsure.gif sweat.gif

Can sifu, guru give me a help to pick one? biggrin.gif

it's easier for the sifus to tell you if you be specific on what you intend to watch on the LCD/Plasma ? biggrin.gif

RM40k - Panasonic V series 65"
RM30k - Pioneer KRP600M
RM15k - RM20k Pioneer KRP500M/Samsung LED TV
RM8 - RM10k - Toshiba Regza/New Sharp Aquos/Pioneer 508XG
below RM8k - loads of choices of 40" - 47"

for the information, some went up to 42'', i think ts only need 42'' max right?
anyway all cost alot, the RM8k and below is more sufficient for ts.
ts list ur budget.

tumpang thread...if only planned for watching astro, which one advisable?
i noob in this, asking bcos my home tv kaput and mom ask me buy....

32" lcd various model is around 1200-1500 for new unit.
42" plasma i saw some selling in here at RM2500+?

so which is which and what is best , for astro only...hahaha...my family don watch dvd etc...only astro news and sports
