i dont know if u can get it at the airport but it sure are plenty at the jetty. or maybe at pantai cenang coz its nearer to airport. but my 2cents, better go jetty for the island tour. should get better price.........

went to langkawi on 26 Feb for 3d2n family trip. overall the trip was great. stay at Sri Idaman Apartment (N6 19.917 E99 49.004). the place is a bit far but worth it. got a 3 bedroom apartment for RM540.00. equipped with pool and the best is not many people around to use it.

3d2n certainly not enough for me. we only covered....

first day,
1. cable car + oriental village
2. burau bay
3. telaga habour
4. kuah town

arrived in langkawi around 1pm. although reached kuala kedah jetty at 9am, the crowd were huge. managed to get 11pm ticket. the is booth who book earlier. so my advise better book. another thing is you need to fill up a form of your particulars, so if you are coming in a big group better prepare it earlier name and IC.

second day,

1.half day island hopping

we got the tour for RM250.00 from agent at kuala kedah jetty. island bras basah, a beach where you can swim, the sand is full with dead coral. but water is crystal clear. next stop pulau singa besar, see the eagles being fed. not many big eagle. only small. then you will go to pulau dayang bunting. first thing, BEWARE OF THE MONKEYS. they like to grab things from visitors. main target are things in plastic bag and children holding water bottles. NEVER give them anything coz it will attract more monkeys. other than than you will all be fine.

2. kuah town again for shopping
3. langkawi jetty, langkawi mall and the eagle statue.

watched the Ironman Langkawi prize giving ceremony. got 2 ironman water bottles for souvenier.....

3rd day,

1. wildlife sanctuary

need IC for discount. my daughter and her nephew loves feeding the animal. this is a good place for a whole family.

there are still a lot of places that we miss. i wish we had one more day.

heard from the radio news report, all the residents of langkawi r given H1N1 vaccine...dont know how true is that...

i thought only RM30.......how many on the boat......?
