Wah v4 already! Most active thread in this section smile.gif

Wanna check, if in my order got in stock items and pre-order items and I select "Group my items into as few shipments as possible." - how will they ship? Will the in stock items ship separately from pre-order items? Or they wait until all pre-order items become available then ship one shot?

i'd reckon the response was so overwhelming, they had to do something about it. i guess the promo folks didn't forsee the potential for exploitation when they launched it. i caught the promo very early (around 6 pm, our timezone) where it was possible to place 10 copies of say, van helsing for $124.90 ($12.49 /each) (cos i tried it out) & get the $100 promo discount for only $2.49 each, excl S&H. subsequently, they limited it to max 3 copies each. now, the price increase seemed inevitable. most of the titles were available & in stock as well too except for riddick & 1 of the F&F titles. now they are out of stock for nearly all of em.
*
Yup probably they didn't foresee the demand. Ha-ha, glad you managed to get in early and exploited the loop hole - 10x Van Helsing for $24.90 (w/o shipping) is dirt cheap! smile.gif

Yup ... after all it is called the Chocolate Box Edition. Plus, prior to release ... the huge price gap possibly indicate it is chocolates that you are buying!

Amazon should put a clarifier that it does not contain real chocs. I suppose even if it did contain real chocs, don't know if they will survive the long journey overseas.

Nope, that's not toratora.

While the publicity will be good for customer awareness, it's not good in that it makes the copyright holders (i.e. the movies and games publisher) aware of his activities - and those guys could take legal action against him for renting. When you buy a BD or game, you don't have the right to rent it out commercially (unless you get a license to do that). So best to keep such activities quiet lest you attract the wrong kind of attention smile.gif

You chose courier method to send? How long did it take?

Congrats, the Enterprise scale model would be a nice display item.

I have one 'blu ray' where the surface is like dark blue. I suspect it is a pirated version, but my BD60 can play it.

Just came back from watching Avatar (in 3D) earlier today. Many a time I left my mouth agape while watching this flick. Story was average and the action & AQ were f-good. But it's the visual effect, CGI and overall look that left me astonished especially through 3D  notworthy.gif

But the real amazement here is the "uncanny valley" syndrome when watching this flick... truly left me confused yet amazed!!!  shocking.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

So many good reviews for Avatar in 3D. Which is the best cinema in KL/PJ to watch this?

Never seen a 3D movie before......Would like to know if I buy a 3D movie which comes with the glasses so I enjoy it at home.....and if without the glasses will the PQ be bad or just the same as ordinary movie eventhough its a 3D movie  sweat.gif
*
For the 3D there's something like 2 overlaid images (hence you need the glasses to do the filtering), if you watch that without the glasses it does look blurry.

However, if you buy a bluray 3D movie it also usually comes with the normal 2D version.

No it is not mandatory to buy high-end HDMI cables. If the length you need is short (like the usual 1-2m) then a normal one is ok. Try searching the Trade Zone, there are forummers selling HDMI cables.
