Your one sounds a bit like the DC reset problem? For DC, it was recommended to resit the powerboard and clean the power socket. May be you can try that? Or may be it might be overheating?

SCART cable have to get from online. Check out VCR or DVD Recorders, sometimes they have SCART input port at the back, which output to RCA/component.
