then the N64/Snes S-Video cable would be your best option. But quality is very different from component.

if you really want to play gamecube games you can buy a used modded wii, it will save alot of hassle & runs GC games just like GC i believe.

and some funny thing, i plan to get some GC Game for test the console i bought, and i look for it at yahoo auction japan. Than i find this:

my first retro get in 2014, preordered since march 2012, received it on Jan 2014  , a reproduction cart for the sfc/snes, this game was cancelled and haven't been officially released, i have seen different reproduction carts for this game before and i think mine doesn't look as good as the others because they are using original SFC/SNES cartridge casing, mine is using a special designed cartridge that fits both sfc and snes  , but still happy to own a copy.

2. mostly becos it's too expensive for an indie games....
