bt xperia 10 still is a nice phone even on 1.6

I just bought X10 last Saturday and this is my first smartphone, all I can say is I really love this phone. Initially wanted to buy iPhone but I think I've made a right choice.

Eventhough it runs on 1.6, it does not disappointment me at all. I've installed ADW Launcher, Beautiful Widgets,Ndrive, Sygic, Papago, some games and applications and I got everything that I wanted on a phone.

you can check with http://www.xperiax10.net/ for more info on x10 releases...anyhow this is not the first time SE has pulled a stunt like this...apparantly they are not interested in competing with the other makes and they just wanna keep releasing new models without even updating their existing ones...if you head on to the thread or fb for SE, u will see thousands of owners flaming there..i just got myself an x10 last week too, and no doubt, the screen size is one of the reasons i got it...if u wanna get speedy updates, HTC is good at releasing stable and quick updates...SE? fat hope..

x10 price keep dropping now..

don't worry their 2.1 has just been approved by the telcos....rumors saying that 25/10 Uk region wiil be the first one to get the update...

Even though it does support multitouch SE won't apply it on Eclair 2.1, the link just shows the multitouch test which could be done if it has hardware support but without software support from SE it's as good as no support

part of me always died inside while reading in this thread.. such a great phone , really is! ( i nearly bought one! ) n yet the support from SE is really almost non existantly slow ( if that make any sense ). btw that multitouch vids is that official? people here are waiting for 2.1 n yet the rest of android world are anticipating the hot-baked-to-perfection gingerbread
