Not same, bestari is 1.4l, 206cc is 1.6 atleast.
206cc interior also far more superior than bestari! But remind you that cc is a 2 seater.

I can give you some answers, I own one.
Well, fuel consumption it depends. Currently I am driving about 20 km per day, full tank around RM70.00, last about 350km. Previously my office is quite far away, doing 50 km per day. Full Tank will last 500km

For service you can goto Glenmarie Nazim Peugeot in Shah Alam, Kheng Soon Service in KL. Check out this forums,

Autoworld Peugeot
http://www.peugeotclubmalaysia.com/

A few things to consider,

1) if you are preparing to buy this car, you should prepare pay more for maintenance. It will be more expensive compare to say Proton or Toyota. Also not many workshops know how to repair.

2) 206cc although is a four seater (2 + 2) it is suitable for 2 persons only, back seats too tight. Even kids can not fit in.

3) Cabin can be noisy, not well insulated because it is cabriolet.

206cc is beautiful car I would say but if you looking for speed and handling, other cars might be better.

i've sat in one and i can conclude that
-quality and interior design similar if not identical to naza's 206
-back seat has no space at all, completely pointless
-insulation is not one of its forte

I used it as a daily car. Perhaps the distance is too short, to office. Another factor 206cc is as heavy say Honda Civic. Probably the weight take up some fuel consumption. BTW in the past I manage to go max of 180 km/h, it is quite steady for a small car.

On other who comments on this car, it is a 206, so interior very similar. Except for it is full leather seats and small back seat. For those who want a hard top cabriolet, it is the lowest price of all other cabriolet cars.

207cc is RM150K ++ OTR.

Make that RM160k for the new 207cc. Its price is already RM159+ OTR haha. I've tried the 207cc and I just dun like the sound of the door when it closes since the window does not have a frame. Other than that...nice car actually. Wouldn't mind getting one for a weekend car..though the upcoming Peugeot 308 RC-Z is lovely...and price is not bad either..kekeke

As far as I know 308cc is not available in Malaysia, maybe in Singapore. 308cc if available, I think it cost at least 200k.

Added on November 6, 2009, 9:22 amBTW just check Autocar Asean magazine (November), the price for 308cc is $133,900.00. If is Singapore dollar, it is very expensive indeed.

Correct. However Naza 206 1.4, the engine also from Peugeot. Naza merely rebadge it.

206cc and 207cc both look good (though I prefer the look of the 207cc). Some points to note (from own test drive experience and other people's ownership experience):

1. When driving the car, it felt underpowered (probably due to the heavy weight of the car vs other cars with similar engine size).
2. Gear shifting not as smooth - probably due to 4-speed auto transmission (compared with 5/6-speed autos)
3. This owner I know complained that the auto open-close roof mechanism was always breaking down, but she loved the car anyway for its looks.
4. Looks good smile.gif
5. My friend had the 206cc (and then later the 207cc) as her dream car, but after test driving it, didn't like the underpoweredness and the gear-shifting. She bought a MINI One instead (similar price to a 207cc). But she still says the car looks great.

In short, from what I can tell, most people love the looks, but that has to be balanced by the lack of power and roof issues.

i have driven the 207CC and i don't find it underpowered at all. in fact i find it quite perky plus it has great handling. maybe you could try a test drive before commenting.

I have test driven both (206cc and 207cc).. and felt both were underpowered for its class (ie, vs other cars of similar engine power) which is not surprising given the extra weight of the roof & machinery. Comparing the 207cc and the MINI Cooper (both have the same 1.6L engine), the MINI Cooper is about 200kg lighter (if my memory serves me right), and you can feel that when driving. Now, if 207cc comes with a more powerful engine, then it might be different.

The Cooper also has a 6-speed gearbox, and that is also reflected in a smoother drive for the Cooper vs the 207cc.

Am not saying the 207cc is a bad car, just that you have to balance what you want from it.. looks/convertible vs power/smooth gear changes. Haven't taken the 207cc out at speed so I can't comment on the handling, but I know the MINI (One, Cooper, Cooper S) has great handling.
